  • Book An Appointment

Once you're ready to make a move on your idea, contact us and our team will liaise with you regarding your tattoo idea, give you advice on any queries you may have and then provide you with a quote and artist availability. If you're happy to proceed with a booking, we would then require a deposit in order to secure a date and time with an artist. Check out our tatoo prices page to learn more about how our pricing system works.

  • Our team will assign you the best artist for the job

  • Artist creates a completely custom design based on your vision

A client file is created with your design brief. Your artist will then create a design for you. Your appointment includes time to go through the design with you and make any minor changes you request. Once you and your artist are happy with the design and sizing, the stencil is placed on you for your final review. Once you are completely happy, you give the final approval and the tattooing commences!

After your tattoo session is complete, we'll send you on your way with all the information you need to ensure your tattoo heals perfectly and you end up with the best possible result!

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About Tattoos?

Here’s some answers to our most commonly asked questions about tattoos, but don’t hesitate to flick us a message if you need some more information!

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Pain levels vary depending on the tattoo’s location, size, and your personal pain tolerance. Some areas are more sensitive than others, but most people describe the sensation as a mild to moderate discomfort.

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

Ensure you are well-rested, hydrated, and have eaten a good meal before your appointment. Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications for at least 24 hours prior. Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed.

How do I choose the right tattoo artist?

Research artists’ portfolios to find one whose style matches your vision. Read reviews and ask us for recommendations. Meeting the artist in person can also help ensure you feel comfortable and confident in their abilities.

How do I care for my new tattoo?

Follow your artist’s aftercare instructions carefully. Generally, this includes keeping the tattoo clean and moisturised, avoiding direct sunlight, and refraining from swimming or soaking in water until it’s fully healed.

How long does it take for a tattoo to heal?

Initial healing typically takes 1-2 weeks, while full healing can take up to a month. Proper aftercare is crucial to ensure your tattoo heals well and maintains its appearance.

Can I get a tattoo if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

It’s generally recommended to wait until after pregnancy and breastfeeding to get a tattoo. Hormonal changes can affect skin sensitivity, and there is a slight risk of infection that could impact you and your baby.

What should I do if my tattoo gets infected?

If you suspect an infection, such as increased redness, swelling, or pus, contact your tattoo artist and seek medical advice promptly. Proper aftercare can help prevent infections.

Can I get a tattoo over a scar?

Yes, many people get tattoos to cover or incorporate scars into their designs. Consult with your tattoo artist to see what is possible, as older and well-healed scars are generally easier to tattoo over.

Will my tattoo fade over time?

All tattoos fade over time, but proper care can significantly slow the process. Avoid excessive sun exposure, keep your skin moisturised, and consider touch-ups as needed to maintain vibrancy.

How much does a tattoo cost?

Tattoo costs vary based on size, complexity, and the artist’s experience. It’s best to discuss your design and get a quote from your artist. Remember that quality tattoos are an investment. For more information, check out our helpful tattoo prices guide.

How do I decide on a tattoo design?

Choose a design that holds personal significance and resonates with you. Research styles and gather inspiration. Consulting with us can also help refine your ideas into a unique and meaningful tattoo.

Can I bring my own design to the tattoo artist?

Absolutely. Our artists are happy to work with your design or collaborate to create a custom piece that fits your vision. Be open to their professional suggestions to ensure the best result.

What is the best placement for my tattoo?

Placement depends on the design, size, and your personal preference. Consider visibility, pain tolerance, and how the tattoo will complement your body. Your artist can help guide you to the best placement.

Are tattoos safe?

Tattoos are generally safe when done by a professional in a sterile environment. All our artists use new needles and follow proper hygiene practices to minimise any risks.

Can I remove a tattoo if I change my mind?

Yes, we offer laser tattoo removal services. The process may require multiple sessions depending on the size and colour of the tattoo. Consult with our specialists to discuss the best approach for your needs and to get an estimate for the number of sessions required.
